Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
In short: no account, no real money, your trades stay on your phone. Ads are served by Google AdMob, crash reports help us fix bugs, and an optional first-run questionnaire is sent anonymously.
Trade Dojo (“the App”) is a paper-trading simulator and educational game. This policy explains what data the App handles and how. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. No account, no real money
Trade Dojo does not ask you to register, log in, or provide your name, email address or phone number. There is no real trading, no real money, and no deposits or withdrawals of any kind. All balances in the App are virtual practice money — nothing can be withdrawn, and the App offers no prizes, giveaways or “funded accounts”.
2. Data stored on your device
Your trading activity — virtual trades, positions, orders, price alerts, journal entries, lesson progress, settings and (if you set one) a profile picture and nickname — is stored locally on your device. We do not collect it and cannot see it.
- Android backup: if backup is enabled on your phone, Android may include this app data in your Google account backup so it can be restored on a new device. This is handled by Google under your Google account settings.
- Export: you can export your data to a file and save it wherever you choose (for example Google Drive). The App only writes the file you ask for.
- Uninstalling the App or resetting the demo account deletes this data from your device.
3. Optional first-run questionnaire
When you first open the App you may answer three optional questions: gender, age range and your trading goal. The answers are sent anonymously to a Google Form that only we can read, to understand who uses the App. They are not linked to your device, your Advertising ID or any other identifier. You can skip the questionnaire.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and use your device’s Advertising ID, approximate (non-precise) location derived from your IP address, and information about ad interactions — and, where applicable, show personalized ads.
- How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- You can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
5. Crash reports and app diagnostics
The App uses Google Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase to detect and fix crashes and to see how the App performs. This may include device model, operating system version, app version, crash stack traces, and basic app-usage events, together with a Firebase installation identifier. It does not include your name, email or your trades. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
6. Market data
The App displays real-time and historical prices from third-party market-data providers (such as Binance, Yahoo Finance and CNBC) for practice and education only. These requests contain the instrument being requested, not personal information about you.
7. Notifications and app ratings
Trade notifications, price alerts and daily summaries are generated on your device. If the App asks you to rate it, Google Play’s in-app review is used; Google handles that review under its own privacy policy.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under the age required by the app store or by applicable law in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Not financial advice
Trade Dojo is an educational simulator and game. Nothing in the App or on this website is financial, investment or trading advice. All balances are virtual and no real transactions occur.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
